Chronode
Privacy Policy
Chaisun Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) builds Chronode, a mobile app for managing projects, tasks, and personal progression. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to Chronode on iOS and any related services we operate. If you use Chronode without signing in, most of your data stays on your device. If you create an account or subscribe to Pro, additional information may be processed as described below.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Chronode, we may process:
- Account information — If you sign in, we receive identifiers and profile details from your chosen sign-in method (Apple, Google, or email), such as your account ID and, when provided, your name and email address.
- App content you create — Projects, tasks, notes, roadmaps, progression data, profile settings (such as username and bio), and related metadata you enter in the app.
- Subscription status — Information needed to determine whether you have an active Pro subscription. Payment card details are processed by Apple (App Store) and are not stored by us.
- Support feedback — If you send feedback from Help & Support, we store the message, category, and optionally link it to your signed-in account.
- AI assistant input — If you use AI project generation in Chronode, the text you submit is sent to our AI service providers to generate a response. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed for that purpose.
- Technical data — Basic diagnostic information may be generated by our service providers when you use sign-in, sync, subscriptions, or AI features (for example, timestamps, error logs, or device/platform identifiers needed to operate those services).
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide core Chronode features on your device
- Authenticate your account and keep you signed in
- Sync and back up Pro workspaces across devices
- Process and manage Pro subscriptions
- Generate AI-assisted project suggestions when you request them
- Respond to support feedback
- Maintain, secure, and improve the app
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Where data is stored
- On your device — Chronode always stores your workspace locally on the device you use.
- In the cloud (Pro) — If you are signed in and have an active Pro subscription, we store a copy of your workspace and related account data in our cloud database so you can sync across devices.
- With service providers — We use trusted third parties to operate specific features, including Supabase (authentication and database), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store billing), Google (Google Sign-In), and AI service providers used for project generation.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your workspace content for third-party advertising.
- We do not require an account to use Chronode locally as a guest.
6. Your choices
- Guest use — You can use Chronode without signing in. Your data remains on your device unless you later sign in and enable Pro cloud sync.
- Account sign-in — You choose whether to sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
- Pro cloud sync — Cloud backup and sync are available only when you are signed in and subscribed to Pro. If Pro ends, new changes stay on your device.
- AI features — You choose when to use AI project generation. Free plans may have usage limits.
- Subscriptions — You can manage or cancel Pro through your Apple ID subscription settings.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Chronode, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Cloud copies of Pro workspaces may be retained after Pro expires so they can sync again if you resubscribe, unless you ask us to delete them.
8. Your rights and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To delete your Chronode account and associated cloud data, follow the steps on our account deletion page or contact us at inquiry@chaisuninteractive.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Children’s privacy
Chronode is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International users
Chaisun Inc. is based in the United States. If you use Chronode from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Chronode after an update means you accept the revised policy.
